What is prophetic and symbolic art?
Prophetic art is created from inspiration derived from divine or spiritual messages, often conveyed through the Holy Spirit. This form of art frequently employs symbols to communicate spiritual meanings. Its purpose is to deliver messages of hope and encouragement or to unveil future events or divine intentions. Prophetic art can be a personal spiritual practice or aimed at conveying messages to a broader audience. It is expressed through various forms, including painting, sculpture, drawing, graphic design, and even performance art.
Symbolic art, on the other hand, is a broader category of art that uses symbols—images, colors, or objects—to represent ideas, concepts, or qualities that are not literally depicted. To communicate complex or abstract ideas visually. The meaning is often understood through context, cultural, or historical references.
