Praying for Revival During Coronavirus Crisis
Why do we need to pray for revival?
The Hebrew word for revive is chayah which means to live, have life, remain alive, sustain life, nourish and preserve life, live prosperously, live forever, be quickened, be alive and to be restored to life and health. In fact there is no reference too, or use of the word revival in the Bible although there are events that can be described as revivals. According to the above definition revival is not just a once off experience but rather a continual quickening and restoration to life. Revival happens when people turn to God, repent and no longer tolerate sin in their lives. And for this to become a lifestyle.
