Encouragement: "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth." [Isaiah 62: 6-7]
"ONE PEOPLE, ONE VISION - HEALING OUR BAY!"
Pray that the watchmen will not become weary. [Galatians 6: 9]
Pray for the Interdenominational End-of-the-Month GAP Prayer Warriors' Gathering, as we fervently seek God's Face for revival in the Church in the Bay! [Isaiah 62: 6-7]
We have been praying for our children and young people to come to salvation and to be set aflame for Christ. Praise God for the many children who came to Christ recently in Despatch and for the wonderful interdenominational youth meeting in Walmer where many young people came into a deeper relationship with the Lord! [Isaiah 54: 13]
We have been praying for the Lord to send laborers into the fields and the Lord has answered through certain outreach Events and by stirring up more and more people to go out onto the streets to preach the Word of God and bring the message of salvation to the 'lost'. [Luke 10: 2]
Pray for the whole NMB Church to receive the vision of a united NMB Church: united in the Spirit, united in vision, united in relationship, and united in purpose! We believe that this vision of unity is from the Lord! Please read and pray through Ephesians 4: 3, 13, John 13: 34-35, 17:21, Ephesians 6:18, Psalm 133]
Revival: [Hosea 6: 1-3, Habakkuk 3: 2, Joel 2: 28-29]
Pray for revival in every congregation.
For the Lord to pour out His Holy Spirit and Power on every congregation.
Pray for those sharing the Word of God in their congregations every Sunday morning to be greatly anointed of God. [Acts 4: 29-31, Romans 10: 14]
Pray for the Church and community to reach out to help those in poverty, for the community to be inspired to create new jobs, for the Holy Spirit to convict the corrupt, and for the unrepentant corrupt to be removed from their positions. [Galatians 6: 9-10]
The Restoration of the Bay:
The fixing and maintenance of the NMB infrastructure.
Service delivery in the Bay to function efficiently. [Isaiah 60: 15]
The healing of our society from poverty, unemployment, inequality, corruption, gender-based violence, the abuse of women and children, human trafficking, division in the city, church and our families, illegal gangs, and drug and alcohol addiction. [Isaiah 60: 17-18]
All sectors of our society: our local government, municipality, education, health, police, traffic police, correctional services, and business to function with excellence!
The ongoing ward breakfasts and partnerships are to be established between churches, schools, NGOs, SAPS, CPF, city councilors, and ward committees.
The SAPS: More believers to join the 'preaching and prayer teams' that enter the police stations each week, and this ministry will grow and be highly successful in their attempt to greatly encourage and motivate our police.
Remember the promise:
... pray to the Lord for the city because if it prospers, you will prosper. Jeremiah 29:7
